Hosting a Workshop
Each of the I love me, I love me not, workshops is based on the idea that communication works best if you teach it to those you either work, play, or love around. Therefore it is best when it is taught in work units, spiritual groups, community committees, friendship circles, or families. If everyone learns the tools together they transform together. How would your life look then?
As a host you work as a conduit to transform the communication within your group. You work as an agent of change. You are provided with $15 per person for your work in being the host. As the host you also receive the workshop free of cost. Your responsibilities include…
- Recruiting then gathering the participants (no less than ten, no more than twenty) and sign them up for the workshop. If they do not pay on the website, you will collect payment two weeks before the workshop date and mail it to the facilitator.
- Provide a space for the participants to gather. (Usually your home, a basement or large family room, or a free community/work space.)
- The workshop will be from 9-5, usually on a Saturday and a Sunday, with an hour break for lunch.
- Provide bottled water for each participant on the morning and afternoon breaks on each day.
- Lunch is brought by the participants or they can go out for lunch. This is decided by you, the host, and the workshop facilitator prior to the workshop.
- Workbooks are provided by the facilitator.
